If It Is Just About Product, There Will Be No McDonald Today

I recently came across several discussion in forums about how one product is better than the other and why they choose a business because the product is really good. There are many discussions like “X has more antioxidant”, “Y has less preservative”, “We Offer More Storage Space” etc etc.

Let me tell you that you are in a business. You are not a sale person. I totally agree that the product is important. You can not recommend a product which is useless. However, you  have to draw a line somewhere. You don’t need to have the “best” product in the market.

There are other things to consider in a network marketing business. I have included Robert Kiyosaki’s B-I triangle here.

bitriangleAs you can see, there are many aspects of a business you have to consider. In an ideal world, you want every aspect to be the best ie best product, best management, best training, best marketing system, best team, best leadership etc etc. However, it is not like that in the real world. You need a balance of everything.

Who cares if my product is not the best if I have everything else of high standard. What if a company has the best products but the marketing system is rubbish?

I am sure you can get what I want to say with my blog post title. McDonald does not produce the best burgers, everyone knows  that. However, they have a good system in place to make them successful. Are you going to say, “nah… I don’t want to open a McDonald franchise because their burgers are not the best”?

Think about it.
