Why Do We Need Nutrition Supplement?

As some of you might already know that I am a big advocate of nutritional supplement. I believe in personal development, ie improving and developing our mind and attitude and I also believe in developing and looking after our physical body. That is why I take nutritional supplement regularly and go to the gym regularly.

There is no doubt that health and wealth are the two most important things in our life. So don’t forget to look after your health while you are building your wealth.

A lot of people believe that as long as you eat healthy and do exercise regularly, that is enough. This can’t be further than the truth. The truth is that unless you consciously try very hard to eat right, you will not be able to get all the nutrients you need from your day to day food intake.

First of all, you need to know that there are 3 types of nutrients.

1. Macronutrients – Carbohydrate, protein, fat
2. Micronutrients – Vitamins and minerals
3. Phytonutrients – nutrients derived from plant material that have been shown to be necessary for sustaining human life

We have no problem getting enough macronutrients. Most of us do not get enough micronutrients and phytonutrients, for the following reasons:

1. Most people do not eat enough fruits and vegetables.
2. Convenient fast food are slowly replacing healthy and well prepared food in modern city life.
3. The way we cook and prepare food actually destroys a lot of the micronutrients and phytonutrients.
4. Fruits and vegetables these days contain less nutrients than before due to the way they are cultivated.

The combination of all these factors make it harder to obtain all the essential nutrients from your day to day diet. That is why I believe everyone of us should take nutritional supplement to improve health and prevent diseases, before it is too late. So get your supplement today, preferably in the liquid form as it gets absorbed better.
