Recently I listened to a fantastic broadcast by some of the best marketers in the world right now. They talked about where the leads are coming from right now. I find it really useful and want to share with you guys.
1. Facebook PPC
Facebook PPC is the main source of leads for a lot of people right now. WIth the new Sponsored Stories PPC, it has become slightly cheaper with higher CTR.
2. Facebook Content Strategy/blog
Another Facebook strategy which utilises a blog post or a piece of content outside facebook. Basically you create a piece of content with a call to action at the end of the page. You then post the content on Facebook. So instead of spamming people with you link, you actually share valuable content but still have the call to action at the end. Great stuff.
3. Facebook Relationship Building
This is like old school networking done on Facebook. Make friends and build relationship. When the time is right, offer them you product or opportunity.
4. SEO/Blog
Create lots of content everywhere. I am talking about really really good content that people are going to share with others. The social proof will greatly increase your SEO ranking.
You can see Facebook is playing a major role in almost all the strategy here. Now that Google+ has become a rival of Facebook, are we going to see some opportunity in Google+ ?
