Following that post, I got a lot of messages from my readers saying that they are really on a tight budget and don’t even have any money to start. The question is, “Can you really build a successful network marketing business without any money? How do you generate leads for free?”
I personally generate good number of leads on a daily basis from free marketing and one of those marketing strategies is blogging. Below is a snapshot of my leads generated from my blog last few days. (average 7 per day)
Blogging is a great way to build your business. Your blog is your business center. It is useful not only for building your credibility, it is also there to generate leads. The contents you create will be working for you 24/7 for years to come. However, not all blogs are successful and there are a few important things to keep in mind when you start you own blog. You need to take care of the following:
1. Good content – You need to provide a lot of value in your posts so that your readers will come back for more.
2. Lead capture form – Appropriate lead capture form at appropriate location is also very important. It has to attract attention but not too annoying for your readers.
3. SEO - There is many SEO plugins for blogs. Do this properly and your posts will be indexed favourably by Google. This will massively increase your free traffic.
4. Social Media linking – You need to be able to link your blog to your social media marketing and vice versa.
There are other things which you should and shouldn’t do with your blog. Building a great blog is not easy and can take time. The most important tip is to learn from the experts and study other people’s blogs. Keep doing split testing and improving it.

Great post Ketsang. I like the way you implemented the opt-in form at the bottom of the page. I was planning to load up my autoresponder and start teaching my visitors the same way. Great way to build your list and gain credibility. Glad to know someone doing it in real time.
